Crossfire Gameclub Philippines, abusado kayo.

It's pathetic that Crossfire Gameclub Philippines priced an online game equip around 2k pesos. HOW LOW CAN YOU GO? Sobrang lala ng price for a game that has cheats and bugs. WOW.

Why is it so hard to be a good person?

Being kind is a human thing, that said, anyone can be kind. Even though sometimes some people will just pull you out from the light and unleash that inner bitch in you. Still, you have to be kind. My aunt once told me a few years ago that keeping anger for someone is unhealthy. BUT GODDAMNIT, some people will just drain out every drop of kindness in you. It's hard because it's confusing to deal with it. If you call out someone's bullshit, people will see you as the wrong one, if you don't, automatically, they won't stop with their BULLshizz. You'll end up not doing anything about it, but then, someone said, the problem with this world is that the righteous keep quiet. So, what now?

LIKE IPOD NANO? Not a good idea to get one.

I bought my ipod nano late last year, I have been using it with care for quite some time now. The thing that I noticed about it is that, the color of the sides of its hardware easily fades, if you accidentally scratch its sides onto something rough(even with your nails), the color will easily chip off. Yesterday, I used it again and saw lines on its screen, I never dropped it, ever. So, I went to the Trinoma Apple Service Center to have it checked. I found out that they won't replace or even fix my ipod(still on warranty) because those faded(chipped off sides) are counted as "DENTS". DENT MEANING here.

They gave me another option which will make me pay 4,000 pesos that's almost 100 dollars. It's like buying a new one! LOL! They will replace my ipod nano with a not-so-new one. Wow. So, that 1 year warranty? IDTS. It's like they will find ways/reasons not to help you AT ALL.  I'm never going to get another one. I'm very disappointed, apple, I used to love your products/services.

Something for my Lola.

It's been a while since I last wrote something.

This blog entry is all about my lola. I was even thinking of making it as a vlog but I might cry while doing it. So, no but maybe next time when I get a decent video recorder. (Probably not.)

Everyone would say they have the most awesome lola ever, but I'm telling you right now, my lola is way waaaaaaaay awesome! The fact that she was there when the Japanese and the Americans took over the Philippines. I love hearing her stories about the war, about how they survived and what they did to get their basic needs. My lola even took care of pigs just to earn money. She has three daughters and three sons, I'm not sure if all of them graduated college but all of them was able to STUDY in college. I love hearing the story when my lolo had an affair with some girl and my lola kicked his butt. LITERALLY! She's a great cook too. She enjoys making ube halaya, malagkit, sampalok and other rice sweets stuff. But now, she doesn't cook anymore. She says they used to sell stuffs like those before to earn money. I can't imagine myself doing those things. My lola is a superwoman. When I was a kid I think I was a spoiled brat but I'm not really sure. Oh! My lola would always scold us, as in always! My little bro and I used to fight, you know how normal siblings fight. So, we always get scolded or get our asses kicked by Nanay. I will never ever forget how she took care of us when we were kids, whenever we go out to buy food she always get something extra for the kids(us). There's always something to eat like, fruits, biscuits and cookies. She always know what to buy and what not to buy at the grocery. I don't know how she does that. (underconstruction)

How to live a STRESS-FREE college life:

READ MORE. LEARN MORE. Note: This applies to guys as well.

Find a place where you can study. Away from your Laptop, Bed and T.V.

Memory boosting food: apple juice, nuts, peanut butter sandwich.

Own a planner. Note: Guys should get one too. Owning a planner doesn’t mean you’re gay. No offense.

For Girls: Do not over-pack for school! All you need is a notebook, a pen and a couple of books.

For Guys: Okay, so we all know you’re hardcore but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to study for an exam tomorrow.

Stop being a kiss-ass to your professors because everyone will hate you for that.

Read, understand and follow you student handbook. Proper uniform and id is and will always be important.

Do not forget to bring extra cash for hand-out fees and such.

Penge.com is never cool!

*Just be yourself and have fun!

College Student do’s and don’ts 101

Do a background check on your professor. E.g. if he/she is the kind of professor who values attendance and such.  Do your research! It might help you someday.

STAY OUT OF GOSSIPS! Been there, stayed there for a while and believe me, cheap thrills of judgment is not worth it! You might end up losing precious people in your life.

When in class, PLEASE... I’m begging you! Avoid checking your phone every 10 seconds. You’ll never get back what you missed during class discussion.

Build a good study habit by always doing your assignments earlier. CRAMMING and PROCASTINATING is not healthy when you’re in college because there will be a lot of things going on.

Bring your own bottle of water. (So, yeah, although I really didn’t care about this that much. Seriously, 1 bottle of water will cost you about 20 pesos!) That’s 100 pesos for 5 days and 400 pesos saved money for a month!

Don’t be afraid to ask people around you. There are a lot of friendly students in STI and you might need their help more than you think.

ALWAYS! I repeat! ALWAYS bring your I.D.

Try to explore the easiest and cheapest route to your campus. The fare nowadays is not friendly at all. Even for students. ;)

Always have a spare pen and paper. Have a spare with everything you need every day in school, and that is, PEN and PAPER!  POP QUIZ!

Choose your schedule wisely, make sure you will be able to get all the subjects you need for that semester. But in STI, it’s automatically set for you, so you’re lucky. ;)

Do not be too addicted for the following:
Drugs – everything illegal was never cool.
Alcohol- You’ll have plenty of time to fool around after college.
Cigarettes- Decreases your life span.’nuff said.

Always greet the people around you with confidence and always smile! Good luck!

*P.S. Never add your professors on Face book. Not until you graduate.
